With so many people wondering why churches don’t pay taxes, it is baffling beyond comprehension that organizations like the Family Research Council (not a church by any sensible definition) is able to skip out on their taxes as well. At least churches generally to something church like. Then we talk about what Scott calls the most we-all-saw-this-coming event of the millennium: a youth pastor is arrested for his participation in the January 6 riot. We wrap things up with some marveling at the SBC’s lame attempt to be woke when they finally decried the denomination’s role in destroying Native American tribal culture. Seems like they’re trying to draw attention from the whole massive abuse scandal, but we’re jaded.
